Kenya National Police Deposit Taking (DT) SACCO is one of the leading cooperative financial institutions in Kenya, established to serve members of the National Police Service and other disciplined forces. The SACCO was officially registered on 20th November 1972 under registration certificate CS/2092, marking the beginning of a transformative journey toward empowering law enforcement officers economically and socially.

At inception, the Society started with a membership of 690, but through dedication, innovation, and trust, it has grown tremendously to serve over 74,000 members across the country. The governance of the SACCO is overseen by 12 elected officials — 9 Board of Directors and 3 Supervisory Committee members — who ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to cooperative principles.
