Expansion Drive: Dimkes DT Sacco opens new branch in Kiserian, brings services closer to members

Dimkes DT Sacco has expanded its presence with the opening of a new branch in the city of Kiserian, thereby extending its 13th branch in the region.

This move is part of Sacco’s strategic plan to bring financial services closer to its members and improve its service offering in the region.

The opening event was enthusiastically received by both members and local decision makers and emphasises the Sacco’s commitment to supporting community development through accessible and reliable financial services.

Stronger presence with modern facilities

The new branch in Kiserian is part of the Sacco’s modernisation campaign aimed at providing a more welcoming and efficient environment for members.

It is the second branch to be renovated as part of the “modern Vancouver” facelift, a remodelling that has resulted in significant improvements to infrastructure and customer experience.

Chair of Dimkes DT Sacco, Caroline Gikonyo, was delighted with the new branch and highlighted the importance of the modernisation.

“If there was one branch I used to be ashamed of, it was this one. It really needed to be renovated and we thank God that this was possible,” said Gikonyo at the opening ceremony.

The modernised branch is equipped to better serve members, with improved facilities and a focus on quick and convenient access to the Sacco’s various services, including savings, loans and other financial products.

Commitment to members and community

Chairlady Gikonyo emphasised the Sacco’s commitment to its members and thanked them for their trust and loyalty.

“We thank our valued members and the community for trusting us to be their loyal financial partner. The government has also supported the Ministry of Co-operatives in our growth and expansion,” she said.

Last year alone, Dimkes DT Sacco distributed KSh 104 million in dividends to members, a rate of 14%, underlining the co-operative’s financial strength and member-centric approach.

This success encourages members to invest more and increase their savings in order to benefit from the Sacco’s attractive returns.

“Members can now increase their share capital to any amount they wish. We have continuously improved our service offerings to ensure that DPS is a one-stop shop for you,” she added.

Expanding the network and services

Dimkes DT Sacco now has a network of 13 branches in various locations, a testament to its strong growth and focus on accessibility.

The new branch in Kiserian joins other strategic locations designed to provide members with easy access to financial services.

With the successful launch of the Kiserian branch, Dimkes DT Sacco is poised for further expansion and increased member engagement.
