Unaitas sacco expands reach with new branch in Othaya town

Unaitas SACCO has expanded its presence with the opening of a new branch in Othaya town, Nyeri County.

Established in 1993 as Murang’a Tea Growers’ Society, Unaitas SACCO has steadily grown over the years, boasting more than 20 branches nationwide by 2023.

Headquartered at Cardinal Otunga Plaza next to Holy Family Basilica, Kaunda Street, Nairobi, Unaitas SACCO has strategically positioned its branches across various counties in Kenya.

In Nairobi County alone, the SACCO operates branches in Kawangware, Kasarani, and Temple Road.

Additionally, it has branches in Thika, Kangari, Gatura, Kiria-Ini, Kangema, Nakuru, Naivasha, Juja, Mulolongo, Ongata Rongai, Murang’a, and Kanyenya-Ini.

Other branches are located in Gatundu, Kahatia, Githumu, Mununga, Embu, Meru, Kisii, Kisumu, and Eldoret.

The SACCO recorded an asset base of Ksh19 billion by 2023

The launch event for the Othaya town branch was graced by Governor Mutahi Kahiga.

In a statement posted by Unaitas SACCO, they expressed their excitement about the new branch and extended a warm invitation to residents of Othaya and the entire Nyeri County to join them in celebrating this milestone.

“We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our newest Unaitas SACCO Branch in Othaya town,” the statement read.

“We extend a warm invitation to all residents of Othaya and the entire Nyeri County to join us in celebrating this milestone! Let’s embark on this journey together towards financial prosperity and growth!”
