Born Randal Keith Orton on April 1, 1980, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Randy Orton grew up in a wrestling family. His father, Bob Orton Jr., was a well-known professional wrestler, and his grandfather also competed in the sport. Despite early warnings from his parents about the challenges of life on the road, Orton pursued wrestling from a young age while attending Hazelwood Central High School.
