Tower SACCO expands further with opening of Mwisho Wa Lami Branch

Tower SACCO has officially opened a new branch at Mwisho Wa Lami, marking its third branch opening in 2025.
The new branch is part of the SACCO’s expansion strategy aimed at improving access to financial services for its growing membership across the country.
In a statement shared on social media on April 10, 2025, Tower SACCO described the new branch as a sign of its commitment to providing reliable and excellent financial services tailored to the evolving needs of its customers.
“Tower SACCO is proud to mark another milestone with the launch of our newest branch in Mwisho Wa Lami. The colorful event was graced by the CECM for Trade, Tourism & Cooperatives – County Government of Nakuru, our Board of Directors led by Chairman Peter Ngugi, and our dedicated team led by CEO Patrick Njenga,” the statement read.
This new branch follows the recent launch of another outlet in Thika, Makongeni, which opened in February.
The Thika branch is located along the Garissa/Nairobi Highway, Makongeni BAT, directly opposite the Christian Church International. At the time of its opening, the SACCO invited residents to visit the facility, highlighting its mission to redefine banking through convenience and innovation.
Earlier in the year, Tower SACCO also opened a branch in Nyeri on February 3, located along Gakere Road, opposite the Nyeri County headquarters and next to Post Bank.
The SACCO said the Nyeri branch was established to meet the financial needs of its members in the area and to offer tailored services for the local community.
Tower SACCO now operates 30 branches across eight counties.
Since its founding in 1976 by primary school teachers in Ol’Kalou, the SACCO has grown into one of Kenya’s top cooperative financial institutions, with more than 250,000 members and an asset base of over Sh20 billion.
The SACCO offers a wide range of services including savings accounts, affordable loans, and investment opportunities.
It is regulated by the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) and also offers mobile and internet banking, along with over 300 agency banking outlets across the country.
