Dimkes DT Sacco expounds wings to Kikuyu town

Dimkes DT Sacco has opened a new branch expounding its wings and dominance to the people of Kikuyu town, Kiambu County
The Sacco has been in operation since 2010 when it was registered and licensed by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA).
Governed by creating holistic transforming lives through sustainable economic empowerment, the Sacco endeavours to increase financial literacy among residents of Kikuyu.
Speaking during the launch, Dimkes Sacco chair lady Caroline Gikonyo said the Sacco aims at opening up more businesses in the county, through financial aid. She urged residents to join the Sacco as it has affordable financial services to nurture small businesses.

We have products to suit all your needs to grow your business together as we grow as a financial service provider,” she said.
According to Gokonyo, the Sacco’s move to open more branches is in accordance with its strategic plan under the people’s objective, which aims at bringing financial literacy and banking services close to the people.
“Our strategic plan, to refurbish our branches for our members to feel like they are in the bank is under the people’s objective to bring Services close to the people and make them feel part of us. You are the people who make us, our members own our sacco, we don’t discriminate because we want all of us to grow,” she added.
The Kiambu County Commissioner for Cooperatives Susan Njoroge lauded the Sacco’s leadership for opening the branch, which she said was going to build a better socio-economic future for the residents around.
“Opening a branch in Kikuyu is going to bring a better future for our people, by bringing financial literacy, services and aid closer to our people. This was a smart move,” said Noroge.
