Esther Mailu appointed CEO of UN Sacco
Esther Mailu has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of United Nations Sacco (UN Sacco).
In a statement released by the Sacco, the board said Mailu brings with her more than 25 years of experience in finance, strategic leadership, and cooperative development.
Before her appointment, Mailu served as the Deputy CEO and Head of Finance, Investment, and Corporate Planning at UN Sacco.
“Her proven leadership and dedication to excellence continues to inspire us,” the statement said, adding: “Join us in congratulating CPA Esther Mailu on her well-deserved appointment. Here’s to a bold new chapter of growth and innovation.”
She takes over from Dr. Nebart Avutswa.
UN Sacco, officially known as United Nations Deposit Taking Sacco Society Limited, was established in 1975 to offer financial services to United Nations employees in Kenya.
Over the years, it has expanded its membership to include staff of diplomatic missions and selected international organizations.
